Hey readers,
It’s Kyle from the band The Frantic. The day is February 14th, or Valentines Day. I’m not much of a fan of this holiday, I really don’t believe in it. Could be because I’m never home and can’t find time for a steady girlfriend to share it with hah. Therefore, we decided to name our tour “The Love Stinks Tour” and tonights show is the main focus on that title. We played our last home town show in Tinley Park, Illinois at the local venue, Mojoes Rock House. We are supposed to be on tour with One Small Step for Landmines, but they are having troubles with their bus, so we played with a few locals. Though I didn’t have a true valentine, the show was a blast. It was great to see all of our family, friends, and familiar faces supporting us before we headed out. Some of our fantastic fans baked us cookies and brought us all different sorts of presents. We’re very thankful for that, it means the world! Brett and I did an acoustic performance after the show was finished. It was a very personal type of show, all of the fans gathered around in the corner of the club, and we played a few songs that we hadn’t rehearsed. It was just a break from the normal performance that we are used to and it was cool to be able to really chit chat with the fans. After loading up all of our gear, we spent the night at our own homes. I packed my things and enjoyed my final night in my own bed and room. See ya tomorrow!
