I woke up bright and early to catch my flight to Winnipeg. I just recently moved to Toronto with my girlfriend so I had to come home to meet up with the rest of the guys. Casey and Matt drove up from Minneapolis. We’re pretty scattered at the moment. We met in Winnipeg to go over the set list and practice with Matt who will be joining us for this tour to play bass. Kevin our old bass player left the band and moved to warmer climates in Australia, so we took a couple months off and these are our first shows of 2008.
Some of the dudes picked me up from the airport and it was cold as hell in Winnipeg! Hell, what did I expect? We then went straight from there to Jeremy’s place to practice. The cool thing is Matt knew all the songs. His bass and back up vocals sounded great. We ran through the songs a bit and thats all we needed. Casey and Matt just left to go back to Minneapolis to pick up our Tour Manager Puc and Merch girl Brooke for the tour. We’re gonna meet them in Fargo for the first show on Friday. I can’t wait to get back on tour. 2 months is probably the longest amount of time we’ve had off in years.
