Which bands to you feel your band is like?
The Misfits, Ramones, Danzig, Samhain, and AFI (The Nitro years. )
How and when did your one man band form?
How: When people would piss me off, I’d sing little jingles in my head about dismembering them. Some were pretty catchy, so I figured I’d record a few.
When: Halloween 2008
Why: Therapy and better judgment. Murdering people and devouring their flesh in song typically won’t land you in prison.
Give us a rundown, what’s happened / happening with ZOMBIE!
ZOMBIE! started purely as an online project but grew exponentially. Within the first year, there were over 50,000 fans on my MySpace page. I’ve had quite a bit of press, but the one review I dig most is below.

But ZOMBIE! is the real thing. But, I’ve personally toured and worked with The Misfits, Electric Frankenstein, Warp Tour, and more.
How exactly would you describe your sound?
ZOMBIE! is REAL HORROR ROCK with big, sing along choruses. Musically, the sound is slightly eclectic – with influences of punk, power pop, rock, blues, and metal; but the lyrics are always blood soaked in violence and terror. If you’re a fan of Danzig era Misfits and The Ramones, you’ll dig ZOMBIE!
WHY SHOULD PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT YOUR BAND? WHAT SETS YOU APART?
ZOMBIE! is a full multimedia project with a huge online component. In addition to the music, nearly every song has a video. Online, there’s a twisted, horror style joke of the day (Twitter, Myspace, and Facebook. ) There’s games… including horror trivia with the fans on Facebook. My own horror inspired clothing line called “Murder Gear.” Fan participation is encouraged and has become a big part of the project. On my sites, I feature zombie photos, zombie tattoos, and artwork that the fans send in. In less than two years, ZOMBIE! has infected well over 100,000 victims and has become more of a global community of horror fans, zombie enthusiasts, and complete lunatics.
What’s next for ZOMBIE!? (This is funny, because it looks like we yelled / asked this question, we’re fine with that)
I will be releasing the full length CD (The Outbreak) and video game this coming year, more clothing, a new website, and a horror comic strip based upon the project.
