Washington DC’s COKE BUST unleash a raw, unrelenting barrage of political, intelligent Straight Edge hardcore on their 17 song debut thrash masterpiece “Lines In the sand”. imagine the intensity of SSD, Youth Of Tday and Deep Wound played at unheard of speeds. This 2nd pressing of the LP features a brilliant remastering by Dan Randall at Mammoth Sound Studios. The CD version includes bonus tracks from their “Fuck Bar Culture” EP (Third Party Records), their early demo and some unreleased cover tunes and tracks from upcoming compilations.

Some Questions with Coke Bust and Athena, from Six Weeks Records:

Athena:  For people new to COKE BUST, who are you guys?

Chris: We are 4 guys from Washington D.C. who love playing fast hardcore and long walks on the beach.

Athena:  Tell me about your new CD.  What can people expect?

Chris: It is our first full length LP entitled “Lines in the Sand” out on Six Weeks Records. People can expect some more of the same fast, raging, pissed off, melt your face hardcore.

Athena:  You guys are heading over the pond soon for your first European tour.  Americans who’ve had the chance to see you know that COKE BUST kick major ass live.  What should Europeans expect?  How can they prepare for total annihilation?

Chris: Europeans can also expect the same diligent ass whooping we have thoroughly dished out to the hardcore kids here in America and then some (you know that imported whoop ass that’s born from long plane rides, crappy airplane food and asshole immigration officials). There is no preparing for total annihilation.

Athena:  What else do you guys have planned?

Chris: We will be releasing a 7″ EP entitled “Degradation” out in Europe on Refuse Records and in American on Grave Mistake Records. There are some splits in the works and a U.S. tour bound to happen sometime in the near future.

Athena:  What words of advice do you have for AMP readers?

Chris: Come to our shows and listen to Heresy.
