If you’ve been hearing the buzz that’s building on the rock group X Japan, here are a couple of links that will give you a really good idea what they’re about.

Shockhound, Hot Topic’s website, just posted this stunning interview with X Japan’s leader, Yoshiki, and it’s a terrific introduction and overview:

X Japan is one of the biggest rock bands in Japanese history, has sold 30-million units, and holds the attendance record at the 55,000-capacity Tokyo Dome, having sold it out 18 times.

X Japan made it’s U.S. concert debut on the Main Stage at Lollapalooza on August 8, 2010, and will launch its first-ever North American tour in late September – the itinerary is below.  The band will release its first album in North America (with English lyrics) in early 2011.
