Well we had about five people who tried to vote and its not working for them. They cant see the poll. Admin can you do something to fix this!?
The polls are run by Ajax, so that means there’s a good chance the people trying to view the polls have java disabled, or don’t have java installed on their browser.
Does anyone find it weird that anytime someone gets two votes close to So Contagious that they go up by one or two votes? They HAVE to be using some sort of program or cheating. That and the fact they were 5th place and out of nowhere went up to 1st. Admin you really need to look into things.
They dont move up unless the band is super close to their score.. Seems fishy to me.

I doubt thats from their fans… Its just way too weird. Your score doesnt go up EVERYTIME somebody gets close by two or three points then doesnt move at all when its less then that.
Actually, it is mostly from their fans, I just went in and cleaned it up and they were only about 6 off from what it was actually. People keep trying to trick the polls, but we can see it. We just need to weed through it at the end of each day.
Yeah.. at the end there it would just keep going up whenever anybody got closer… didnt seem right.
I l;ove the fact that when the band your “rooting” for is not ahead you automaticly think there is foul play, think about it…….The average person on facebook or myspace, has the average of 200 plus friends, now if you acually promote your band….you know like they did back in the day….that is alot of votes from alot of friends and a good chance some of them voted within the same time vicinity(I know i need spell check). my band only has 57 votes and i have like 300 frineds on fb, so if our numbers shoot up, dnt be surprised. have a nice day

So Contagious has an event for this on facebook and they got like 600 people “attending” so its probably just people finally taking the time to get around to voting… the way i see it you should be lucky they didn’t all vote at the same time and blow the band you want to win out of the water…

Our fans have been saying they are not able to register to vote. One girl told me she clicks on the register link a window pops up, she puts in her info and it then gives her the loading circle forever. Is there another way to register admin?
odd……do other people have this issue or is this just a single incident? has she tried registering on a different computer? we can’t be held accountable for computer issues ya know. Was she able to successfully register and login? whats the email address your friend registered with?

i had the same problem. when it did that i went straight to the e mail i registered n the login and pword were there.

regardless if they are or aren’t don’t worry about it. Let AMP deal with the votes and where they come from. Everybody here needs to cut the flame wars and just keep promoting. We got 2 days. That’s more than enough time to turn the tide on a vote like this. Spread the word more, and lets bitch less. Even IF your band doesn’t make the #1 spot you’re STILL in national publication as long as you make the top 9.
Violent Ruler is the only real music on here. Don’t even know them and they are bad ass.
