The fact that NOFX and Lagwagon are still around just speaks to how good their music really is. But I think it’s kinda BS when bands as influential and important as these don’t get their due credit. But a band like Bush or Nickelback is crammed down your throat by industry suits, and in 50 years, who do you think will be lauded as classic and influential? The mainstream drivel, that’s who. I think shit like that has to stop…what would happen if people just stopped buying the mega-band’s records? Maybe we could cull the herd of music and weed out the sick and lame?
