There’s something really unique about this young Bay Area band. Their ability to mix post-hardcore melody with twinkling, shimmering mid 90‘s Jade Tree-esque nostalgia and fuzzed out guitar driven rock puts them in a rare yet intriguing category. Sometimes reminiscent of DINOSAUR JR’s buzzing, other times a more upbeat LOU BARLOW project, I’d like to imagine this is what JAWBREAKER would sound like today had they remained together. Apparently only 500 copies of this were pressed as these guys are pretty obscure now, but that will change soon as this is exceptional in every aspect. Seek this one out- you won’t be disappointed.
