Los Angeles, California’s ROTTING OUT and Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s FOCUSED X MINDS will be touring this Spring as part of the 6131 Spring Tour 2012, presented by 6131 Records and GlueHC. The labelmates will venture
coast-to-coast throughout April and early May, hitting a number of cities not visited by either band in quite some time.
ROTTING OUT released their first full length, “Street Prowl,” in Summer 2011 via 6131 Records to much acclaim. The album appeared on numerous year-end best of lists and solidified the band’s place as one of the
trailblazers in a new crop of Southern California hardcore. ROTTING OUT have toured recently alongside Madball, Cruel Hand, Bane, Defeater, Dead End Path, Take Offense, Stick Together, and many more.
FOCUSED X MINDS earned immediate popularity with the release of their debut EP, “Stay Focused,” in Summer 2011 on 6131 Records. Since then, the band has been touring regularly, including runs with Hardside, Bent
Life, Venia, and Sleepwalkers. They will also be appearing on a three-way split with fellow Midwesterners Out Of Time and Another Mistake, due out in April on 6131 Records. Few bands have garnered such loyalty and respect from fans of positive hardcore as FOCUSED X MINDS over the past year.
