This is an awesome 7 inch! It’s snotty. It’s melodic. It’s pissed off. It’s punk fucking rock. For all of you folks who are into THE QUEERS, with some FOO FIGHTERS influence, and bands of that nature you definitely want this! It’s pretty standard 3- chord punk rock but in this day and age that is what makes it stand out. Not to mention that it is easy to just phone in a 3- chord punk rock song but that’s not the case with THE FAKE BOYS. It’s all aggressive down strokes and big sing along choruses. Stops and starts with roller coaster melodies. They even have a slow dance jam for all of you hopeless romantics. This is a 7″ that you’ll listen to 3 or 4 times in a row because it’s so fun and energetic. It’s a perfect 7″ that only left me wanting to hear a full-length effort. Good thing is they had them for me to hear! Great release for both THE FAKE BOYS and Kiss Of Death Records alike. (SS)
