Another good release from what has become my new favorite label, Kiss Of Death. SENDERS have the multiple wide open, single string guitars that create the illusion of one super sonic toned guitar with the heaviest, so raunchy it’s an absolutely beautiful sound. When they start throwing the power chords around you realize just how heavy and tight they really are. The vocals are consistent with the rest of the record in the sense that they are constructed in the same simplistic approach and delivery. Calm and conservative when needed and aggressive and borderline chaotic at all the right moments. Lucidity-Lividity is one of the best Jawbreaker-ish, Hot Water Music-ish, with its own identity due to the vocal work, I have heard yet. Kiss Of Death is where it is at people.
