Defeater on tour in Australia now, Tour with La Dispute Announced

In support of their brand new release, Empty Days & Sleepless Nights, Defeater is excited to announce that their fans in North America will get a chance to hear the new songs live!  The band unveiled tour dates today supporting La Dispute (with Native and Former Thieves also in tow) that will bring them across the Midwest, South, East Coast and Canada in May.  Currently on tour in Australia through April 9^th, Defeater couldn’t be more excited about the tour and the release of their new album.  Guitarist Jay Maas commented, “We are thrilled to finally get down to Australia and to come back and tour in the states and Canada.  We really feel like the songs on ED&SN are some of our best yet and love playing them live.”

Empty Days & Sleepless Nights was officially released last week and debuted at #169 on the Billboard Top 200 charts and has been seeing enormously positive reactions from fans and press alike.  Boston’s Weekly Dig called Defeater “a force to be reckoned with” and the album was tagged as “absolutely amazing” by Rock Sound and “brilliantly conceived” by Decoy Music.  ED&SN is available now in stores and online from Bridge Nine Records.
